MobileRSS V1.2 Screen shots

MobileRSS v1.2 Screen shots

We are not sure if our users will like the new logo, so we decide to post the logo on our blog to let users to check it. What do you think, should we change to the new logo?

We also designed a new UI for MobileRSS v1.2, to compare it with v1.1, please see the following screen shots:

V1.2

V1.1

What do you think? do you like the v1.1 UI or the new UI for v1.2?

I like the flying rss symbols more

Not sure about this. I don't know if it's the yellow-green color next to the orange folder or the fact that the folder looks cramped with top and bottom margins but none on the sides...maybe a dark gray background would work instead of the Gatorade yellow-5?

I think it looks alright. I personally like the flying symbols like the above user said. Personal preference I guess, just stuck out more, and the blue seems to match the going theme with all my communication apps :)

The icons are great, but the olive color doesn't really match.

Orange icons don't mix with the standard grey/blue iPhone & iPod touch interface...

I prefer the original icons (their meaninig jumps out more quickly for me), but prefer the new home screen logo.

would be nice to be able to close up that home/sharing section (i usually skip over it, but sometimes need it around).

also, would be great if you could star items from the article list. for example, i could star a couple i know i want to read later, and then mark all 25 read. saved having to go into each article individually to star.

thanks!

Hi Todd, we are considering add a toggle switcher to show/hide the home, sharing stuff in v1.3 update.

Love the new logos! (though i agree that the olive accent color is a little bit weird, maybe juse ust a lighter variant of the orange instead).

p.s. Please please add the ability to "mark as unread" (Byline has a nice 'swipe' interface in the article list view for this function). Thanks!

I will no longer use the app with this icon and interface. Very ugly.

Oh yes, the new icons are much nicer, and more professional.

I love this app, so I am going to get the pay-for version. Is there anything different in the pay-for version? It doesn't seem to say in appstore...

Two feature requests:
1) Mark item unread
(or)
2) Able to send an item to Read It Later offline (the actual sending of which would happen when I eventually go online).

I have a Touch, so I am usually offline, and the only way I have of marking items for later reading, etc. is star'ing them (which is okay btw, but I usually use that for other things).
