We are not sure if our users will like the new logo, so we decide to post the logo on our blog to let users to check it. What do you think, should we change to the new logo?

What's new in iTools v1.1

iTools v1.0 is available for download today, it's a great news, and a greater news is we've finished the development of iTools v1.1 and is in review by the QA of our company, we planned to submit v1.1 to Apple tomorrow.

So, what's new in v1.1?

1. a better user interface.

We changed to a new theme which appears more elegant, you guys would love it.

2. with 2 new apps

Yes, in v1.1 there's 5 apps now, the 2 new apps are night clock and gradienter, as you see the snapshot beneath. How you feel about the interface? love it?

What's new in iTools v1.2? well I'm gonna tell you we will add 2 more apps there. Actually every update in v1.x there will be 2 new apps, and we will update every month at least. So you are gonna get a number of apps very soon, and all these cost only $0.99, or for free with ads integration.

Tell us what apps you want, and see if we can make it future updates.

We will definitely beat AppBox, who only provides ugly and trash little apps.

Update Facebook status when post tweet

A lot of users are asking how to update facebook status without repost of the same text.  Well there is an easy way to do that for any twitter clients : 

Use your PC to go to http://apps.facebook.com/twitter , install it. All your twitter updates(from any twitter client) will be posted to Facebook with the exception of @replies.

Beside Facebook, I am personally in need to update my MSN messenger status and skype status when I post something on twitter, anyone have any good ideas to share? Let us know by mention @twitbird on twitter! 

TwitBird 2.0 Plan

While TwitBird v1.2 is in review by Apple, the dev team start to work on TwitBird 2.0.  This will be a free update to all existing users. Estimated release time would be at the end of October. User should receive 2.0 as free update around middle of November. 

Here is the list of features that will come in V2.0,

3. Tweet Music : share what you are playing to the world
4. New Compose UI
5. Improved Address-book
6. In app setting
7. Bug fixes and other improvements 

I will start to post screen mocks/shots here in the blog, hoping that our users can be part of the design process of TwitBird 2.0.   We will be very happy to hear from our users, just mention @twitbird on twitter and we will be there for you. 

I found myself particularly interested on my follower count. So I think it will be good to display the numbers directly at the first page of the app.  How do you think?
