After waiting for approval for almost 3 weeks, the update to Twitbird Pro and Premium are both available!

Please fix the portrait orientation view on iPad. There MUST be a way to access the categories list WITHOUT returning "home" every time I want to switch category. The "back" button should bring up the category view in portrait mode. Otherwise you simply have 2 home buttons on the toolbar which is of no benefit and is very frustrating!
ReplyDeleteThere is a serious bug in this release. Any retweets I do cause a retweet of a random user and message (not one of my follows/followers even). Quote retweet works fine. I've confirmed this on both twitbird pro on iPhone and iPad. Please respond.
ReplyDeleteWhat is going on with Global Push? I constantly have to "repurchase" but it continues to be an issue. Now my phone asks me for me itunes password multiple times per day and when I try to reactivate Global Push, it tells me 'You've already purchased this in App Purchase but it hasn't been downloaded." It's very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteApparently a lot of people are buying Global Notifications... you guys HAVE to get more servers running.. i get my notifications sometimes HOURS after they've been sent!
ReplyDeleteAnother thing, it would be great that when you click on someone's tweet, if they have the Geo tag it would show you a preview BIGGER than that little square. Kinda like it already does when they have a picture attachment.

Seems there is a bug with sending to delicious - link gets sent but is HTML escaped so useless. Link also gets sent as title - would be better if whole tweet was sent. See this both on iPad and iPhone. iOS 4.2.1. Free 2.7.4

My Global Push notification is STILL not working right. Everytime I check, I either get a message to purchase it again, or a network error which makes it useless. This has been an issue for the year that I've used the app, one would think you'd have fixed it by now, what's going on over there?!?!?

It's rediculous that Global Push is STILL not working: We paid quite some money for this "Service", still to no avail. Where's your goddam update to fix this?

Besides, it's upsessting that every "Update" is kind of a complete new installation:
Global Push has to be re-purchased (which is not working), unread-counts for all categories makr every tweet as unread, and also the account-data have to be re-entered each time you update Twitbird Pro.
Ever heard of separation of program and data?
Why is it that other apps get Push and update running (even free apps), but you guys, who ask for quite some money for your app, don't?
That's all too rediculous, some might call it a rip-off, some might call it an EPIC FAILURE
So get this update out ASAP!

ReplyDeleteI installed the latest update early January (Jan 6) for twitbird free.
I don't really understand why you updated it, whereas it was perfectly working, and now it is again bugged, with frequent crashes, repeated unread counter bugs and so on...
I'm a bit sad that one update on two is bringing more bugs than it is solving.
Hope the next one will arrive soon and bring back an efficient twitbird to my iPhone.
I'm having two major issues with Pro: one is that some tweets simply won't load (a block of time from 2-10 hours will be skipped); the other is that DMs won't stay marked as read. They pop right back up on the next refresh, even when deleted.

Serious issues with Twitbird Free now since the update! I have the same issue as comment above, a block of time and tweets totally missing. I open, update tweets and when I go back in again later, the last tweet showing is from a couple days ago, then only a few recent ones load! I know a few others having similar issues and everyone is ready to give up on this app! Very buggy and missing some tweets defeats the purpose of twitter!

Everytime I refresh it jumps to the top of the timeline.. freaking stupid. No push support even thou i PAID extra for it. Now twitter has that for free and fast, and boxcar offers it for free.
You guys really dropped the ball. after i made 2 people buy twitter pro we're all so disappointed.
But who the fuck cares right.. you already got our money.

I have Pro 2.7.5 but App Store doesn't let me download 2.7.6 for free. Am I missing something?

There is serious bug in this app!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you go to your followers profile, press 'report spam' BUT then CANCEL, the app will still BLOCK that follower. To make thing worst I don't know how to UNDO that in the app!!!
Thanks to your app, I lost my BEST FRIEND as my follower. I can not unblock him as I couldn't search him now(using web twitter), he can search me but couldn't follow me as he is BLOCKED!!!!!Freaking hate this!!

ReplyDeleteHelpful suggestion (as opposed to angry rant): the ability to read links in text-only mode via Google Mobilizer is nice, but if you wsnt to make this a KILLER app, use Readability instead.
