I have some good news and bad news to report. First the good news: we were happy to wake up today and see that Twitbird Free has been approved and is available in the App Store as an update. This is a long awaited update and fixes the "logged out or blocked by user" error which many users have been experiencing this month. Upgrade now and get back to using the best Twitter client in the App Store! (yes, we are biased)
The bad news, however, is that Twitbird Pre and Pro have yet to receive approval from Apple. In fact, we've received a message from the App Store indicating that the review team "needs additional time". This is bad news because there's no way to tell how long this could be - it could be hours, days or longer. Since our users have been waiting for an update for more than 10 days now, the situation is dire and we've been doing our best to contact Apple and get the approval expedited. In case anyone is wondering, we submitted updates to all three versions of Twitbird (Pro, Pre & Free) simultaneously - all versions are equally important to us. All three versions are virtually identical so we really don't know why Free would be approved when the paid versions were not. As soon as we know something we'll let you know. Follow us on Twitter to stay updated.
Thanks and take care,
- Twitbird Team

Workaround: if you save to draft the tweet that is not sent, you exit and close the app (even from the multitasking bar) then you open again and send what was in the draft folder it works. Tricky but usefull

Good tip Makalu, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad free twitbird is back working. I love this twitter app!
ReplyDeleteSorry guys, a few bugs were corrected, but one of the main problems (Can't use normal Retweet function) isn't working.
ReplyDeletestill no update for pro version. No switching to tweetdeck. Better Facebook integration and no sign off error popups . Sorry guys.
ReplyDelete@Jojo, still not working? If you continue to have problems, email us at service@nibirutech.com
ReplyDelete@Frank Twitbird Pro update is available now
However, the app crashed when I want to upload pictures taken from the app itself. And the app takes VERY LONG to upload a picture tweet.
